  • PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 carton (16 oz each) Egg Beaters® Original
  • 1/2 cup fat free milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 4 frozen Banquet® Brown 'N Serve™ Turkey Sausage links, sliced
  • 2 cups refrigerated shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 8x8-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray; set aside.
  2. Combine Egg Beaters, milk and garlic salt in large bowl. Add sausage, potatoes, bell pepper and cheese; stir to combine. Place mixture in dish.
  3. Bake 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.

Cook's Tip

Egg Beaters Three Cheese may be used in this recipe in place of Egg Beaters Original, if available.

Been making this for years only for Christmas my family calls it, "Christmas Breakfast Casserole". I use real eggs, bell pepper, onion, sour cream, hot pork sausage, cream of mushroom soup!My family wish I would make it more often. If I did it would not be as special breakfast anymore!

Substitute the Egg Beaters® Three Cheese with a dozen of REAL eggs, Large (real eggs tastes better). Substitute the frozen, precooked turkey sausage with REAL pork sausage. Mild to hot. Precook it yourself. ( real sausage tastes better). Grate a real potatoe and add to sausage when cooking. Substitute the no fat(no taste) milk with WHOLE milk. 1/2 cup each of chopped pepper,onion, 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese. Chop 1-2 cloves of garlic as to taste. follow the directions Real is better

I love this for b'fast, but being a hot head I substitute jalapenos for the red pepper, and occasionally add fresh mushrooms as well.

This is casserole is delicious. A co-worker of mine has made it for us several times and there is never any leftovers. I plan on making it Christmas morning.
